| Cameyac | 6/10 | Friendly competition day. Close ‘out-of-bounds’ most fairways. Good value |
| Gujan | 8/10 | Very difficult to score well. A true shot makers course; |
| Lacanau | 8/10 | Tree lined fairway favouring good drives. Slow greens. |
| Medoc | 9/10 | Closer to true links. Long course with large fast greens. More expensive.. |
| Arcachon | 8/10 | Very hilly old style course. Tree lined and sandy soil. Fast greens, take a buggy. |
| Bordeaux Lac | 6/10 |
Long
flat course. Recent drainage improvements; Busy but good value. |
