As your holiday is one
of the most important events of the year it is our
philosophy to provide you with the highest standard of
accommodation and advice so that your holiday here is a
memorable experience. This is born out by the high
percentage of our guests who return again and again.Our approach is both
professional and friendly. Our guests are invited for an
aperitif (or two) on their first evening so that we can
advise them on the many things to do & see in this beautiful
region.
We are constantly
upgrading the property and gardens and pay attention to the
smallest details. For example the house is well
stocked with herbs & spices with fresh herbs growing in the
garden.
The grounds are a
child's paradise with the pool, trampoline, animals to feed
and wildlife.
Our own house backs
onto the same grounds, so although the guest's area is
private, we are on hand for emergencies and are fluent in
French. Emergencies include helping guests out if they run
out of wine!
The property was
originally a wine château and when we moved here in 1992 Les
Rossignols was a barn. We replaced the roof and just about
everything else except the centuries old stone walls. The
ground floor suite walls are concave where the cows who
lived in this former stables, licked the saltpetre from the
